Post by ElZorro »

So we did this a couple years back (http://forums.dcawd.com/viewtopic.php?t=1204 - pictures at http://gallery.dcawd.com/main.php?g2_itemId=3591) and had a good time. Anyone interested this year?

http://www.washingtonautoshow.org

Where: Silver Diner
6592 Springfield Mall
Springfield, VA 22150

Then: Caravan to Springfield Metro

I vote Sunday the 27th, but I could probably make it on the 26th if that is the will of the group.

I try to keep my Sunday's open so I can play hockey. If it is reaining/snowing, then Sunday would be fine.

I'll ask the girl I used to date at AAA if they have any discount tickets this year.

Cool, list updated.

Time: Show opens at 10am. Last time we went we did breakfast at like 9am, and then with slow people showing up, and the long metro ride, I think we actually got to the show around noon. If you think you may go straight there, or may miss us somehow, PM me for my cell # so you can track us down.

Probably best dates are Saturday or Sunday, 26th or 27th. Can meet at Silver Diner down in Springfield, grab some chow, and then metro up.
Can somebody give me the address to the silver diner thing or whatever so i can type it in the nav?!? Thanks... :ugh:

haven't seen you two since last year.

saw a flyer in the paper. among the cars on display: the Hyundai Genesis Coupe Concept; the Chevrolet Volt Concept; and the Maserati Gran Turismo (aka Sex On Wheels).
