a lunch meet? I would only be able to attend on a case-by-case basis. I don't often get out of the 'cube for lunch.

Keep an eye out in the non car local stuff section, we tend to post up happy hours, events, movies and such. A fair amount of people make it out to them. Good times are very often had.

a lot of us meet in old town pretty regularly, but it's to get drunk as balls, which is always a good thing.

it's not as bad as one may think. i've never had a night where i've driven down there and been completely unable to find anything. as a last resort, there are several parking garages or lots that charge $5 or so. but there's usually street parking in the area.

overnight parking?
we usually get sauced when we venture into OT, so public transportation and/or cab FTW.

Officially requesting the RSS feed. Or just an email. Or the location of the thread. Or something. I never really know when I'm going to have time to go to a meet, so having the options of tacos/dnb/vinny's is nice, but adding chadwicks or something would give us another option.

usually all you have to do is shine the beer signal (like the bat signal) and at a minimum 2 or 3 of us will heed the call. chuck practically gravitates towards alcohol.

Is there drinking planned for tonight? I gather people will be tired Sat/Sun night from Redline (or maybe there will be much celebratory drinking, or something)... I could go for a double bourbon or two .. or three...

austin grill at 10. then see what happens. i have to be up semi early so i won't be up for an all-night drinkfest. but yeah, 11 at murph is probably on the menu.
