Tires are a food place to start, but to save Mr. Kleen the time and post, he would say a high performance driving event like the Red Line Time Attack.
Once you can drive the car better, then it just makes all the follow-on mods that much better beacuse you are able to make use of all the new goodness.
But for me, I love some bolt turning installs. Some popular mods to the STi are;
boost gauge
replacing brake lines w/braided steel and swapping pads
turbo back exhaust (on earlier STis boost creep was an issue, don't know how it is today though)
anti-roll & strut tower bars
Engine Management (EM)
and my favorit mod of all time is water injection.
Make it to the meet on Monday and you will get to see a lot of the possibilities.

Wow where to start?bdub wrote:any input on fixin up the beast please hit me up cuz my ass is lost in the dark when it comes to subies
First, what are you thinking; going faster, turning sharper, braking harder, all of the above?
Next, How much faster, sharper, harder?
Last, how much do you want to spend?
If you give me some boundaries, I can give you some input.
