its a slow speed event. no car ever travels over 35mph, and the skid pad is really wide. So even if you spin there is a 0% chance of a car overturning.Katya4me wrote:Looks like you had fun, but how'd you get away without helmets?
hell, at some points I was not even wearing a seat belt

Naughty boy!!! I feel more comfortable w/ one on, but I can see why the risks were lower there. Did it rain before or while you guys were on the track?spazegun2213 wrote:its a slow speed event. no car ever travels over 35mph, and the skid pad is really wide. yes, its a wet skid pad, setup to show understeer and oversteer in a slow speed environment. We had a HPDE going on, the skid pad just entertained me while i was not on trackKatya4me wrote:So, it's like the Street Smart or "real" driver education schools?Mr Kleen wrote:i think they wet the skid pad down intentionally.
there are sprinklers on a timer to get it nice and wet. I think we went though thousands of gallons of water because it go so much use by my friends an I. When i bought the M5 out, EVERYONE stared at me... and saw my 2 spins
