Where to buy painted fog light covers from?

Post by StephanieWRX »

So, since my foglights do not work, and I need to pass inspection, rather than cutting out the lights, where can I but the painted fog light covers from?

Thanks!

Stephanie

PS - unless anyone has an idea why the fogs don't work when the fuse is ok, and the bulbs are brand new (the fogs have been out of the car before)

lol, could you just drive up there with my fog light covers on? No one said they needed to match for the inspection!

Indeed I could. Would you be willing to let me borrow them?

Sure, as long as they fit your car! Not sure about the difference in the bugeye and 04-05 fog light covers :/

I don't think they would fit....I was just thinking about that. Mine are differently shaped.

yeah it wouldn't work older models have the squareish foglight covers.

as for the fog lights. Check your grounding! 95% of the time i've worked with electronics that is the cause of the problem. Make sure you have excellent grounding points and dielectric grease all around!

If that is not the case it might be a bad switch

Mine are black mesh, does that satisfy inspection? If so, feel free to borrow.
