I just nabbed a free 06 STi catback.. that makes my 2nd exhaust i got for free. i have great friends.

will it fit on an RS? will it just bolt on or should i be sad in the realization that it wont fit. i honestly have no clue. i know ive seen sti axlebacks on RS'....

I think it needs to be modified to fit, IIRC.

I would suspect that an axel-back would just bolt-up - the RS and the STI have the same basic "bones" (they're both Imprezas after all). No better way to find out than to give it a try.

Let us know what you find.

I could have sworn that all N/A vehicles ran different exhausts from their turbo counterparts. :? ...but I could be wrong.

I would guess that the axle back would fit, but it's only a guess. it will take about 30 minutes under the car to know for sure.

i'll have to give it a try. im guessing my cat is smaller than a STi's.

it would fit if i could reweld the flanges.. however this kid wants to be able to put it back on his STi at a moment's notice if any trouble ever comes from his current exhaust so i cant start modding it. Looks like the only option now is to buy that Stromung if i want an exhaust (i could buy other ones but the stromung is the one i want)
