Washington, DC Auto Show- January 28, 2007

MSCW is having their annual winter party there on on Jan. 28, 2007. Last year, we got together and went for breakfast before Metroing in to the show. Who would be interested in doing this again this year? Skiers aren't allowed to comment. :p

I'm hoping to get a whole crew together.
Where are you thinking about for breakfast and when?

We met at the Silver Diner near the Franconia/Springfield Metro last time at around 9am or so. Is this convenient for you?

Actually, I live in Arlington. 22202-3772. So I'm localish to the HT meets in Springfield, but I'm also about ten minutes from anywhere in DC. I'd be game, regardless.

So, who's interested on Sunday? Let's try to firm up a list and location. How many in favor of the Silver Diner at 8:30 meet up?

I still don't have all my people accounted for.
So I can't speak for numbers or time or place yet, sorry.

I quit my job on Friday, so my weekend is now free. Barring all else, I will be coming.

I will be going to the auto show and bringign 3 others with me.
We won't be able to attend the breakfast but we should be able to get to the show by noon or so. Should we pick a time and place to meet?

I could definitely go without breakfast, especially if it meant leaving a little bit later.

edit: now I have a slight time restraint. I have to be back in Alexandria at 2pm, but of course I can leave by my own self.

We're now more likely to skip the breakfast (doesn't make sense for us to go all the way to Springfield just to go into DC) but we can meet up at the show.

Same question as Darrin - time and place to meet @ the show?

Ok, since we don't seem to have our collective act together, I made plans for myself.

I am meeting my brother-in-law at the exit to the Mount Vernon metro stop at 10a.m.

If anyone would like to meet us there, feel free. If you'd like my cell number, send me a PM. I will check later tonight and again in the morning.

Shawn and I were out all day and I just saw these posts. It looks like we'll be arriving at the convention center around 10:30 or so. I've got Darrin and RJ's cell #s, if anyone wants mine, please send me a PM. See you guys there. :)

CN: show was ok. Not as good as last year. Solberg's car wasn't there. Wayyyyy more crowded than last year too.
