STi dashboard question

Post by Cereb Daithi »

sort of just a curiousity thing..sort of an interest....

the STi dash glows red. it looks great i think... but what produces that light? what im really asking is can that color be changed without very expensive modifications? my gut instinct tells me you cant just easily change that.. but i figured i'd ask one of you guys. (this has to do with my price-list for the STi im looking to buy)

i believe the color comes from plastic inserts... i'm pretty sure i read in a couple places people going through and swapping them (except maybe for oem stereo). lot of work for minimal payoff, imo.

I think it would be a lot of work, but if it's what you want, go for it! I'd get the dash from a wrecked STI to play with though.

Good choice putting $4,000 rims on your 1990 Honda Civic. That's like Betty White going out and getting her tits done.
