so, after being shafted on some used sales before I'm a little hesitant to get a used turbo, BUT, this one poped up for sale
http://forums.nasioc.com/forums/showthr ... hlight=20g
Or should i just say eff it and spend the extra money on a "new" one.
(note: I'm not saying I'll buy one anytime soon though, i just want to know)

Personally, I wouldn't do any turbo that isn't water and oil cooled unless you want to run a turbo timer.

Good choice putting $4,000 rims on your 1990 Honda Civic. That's like Betty White going out and getting her tits done.

still, there were/are a few td0620G's on nasioc that are water/oil cooled running for a few hundred cheaper than what slowboy and places like that charge.

Not much of a deal if you ask me... esp for like 100 less than new.
- Plus you're not sure of the size of the internal wg (smaller ones had SERIOUS boost creep issues in the 20G)
- there's no way to tell if there is any shaft play, etc.
- You don't know what kind of oil was used, if the turbo was broken in properly, etc...
<----- Wouldn't buy a used turbo evAr, unless it was being shipped directly to Jerry for a teardown.
just my .02usd
