is there a site that has bumper removal instructions for the STI?

Dude, it's BUTT simple.

Separate the fenderliners from the front fenders, remove the grill, pull out a butload of clips, remove the corner screw thingys at each corner of the bumper and enjoy.

But a more detailed manual would be available from any FMIC manu.

I'll try and find one for ya. BTW the beam is in my car. Lemme know when you wanna meet up and grab it.
