For the 3rd year in a row, Red Bull Global RallyX is coming to DC.
Qualifying is on Friday and the finals are on Saturday, July 30.
If anyone else is interested, here are the links with more details:

We watched qualifying in 2014 and in 2015 watched the finals as they were on Saturday. Lot of fun to watch and plan to watch the finals again this year, but if they do "VIP" seating like they did last year, I'm just buying the general admission seating.

Wasn't the VIP seating covered? Might be worth it for that, it was a warm day!

Good choice putting $4,000 rims on your 1990 Honda Civic. That's like Betty White going out and getting her tits done.

OMG, I got an email notification!!!!
Nope, no covering in the area we were in. Fenced in to allow limited access to our stadium seating, bar and porta-john but that was it. And open seating, so if you had a decent seat, you had to keep your butt in it the whole time. I liked it better in 2014, but admittedly that was also during qualifying not finals, so that could have played a role as well.

lol, ya... I FINALLY had time to fix it... only a year after you and several others told me
Ah, I thought you all were covered and had food! Maybe I will stick to the outside then!

I had an awesome seat last year, and probably going to do the same again this year.
