WTB 04/05 passenger headlight

Post by HappyIdiot »

Hello everyone. Last Thursday I was making a right turn on my way to work, and hit a patch of black ice. Instead of making the turn, I kept going straight and clipped the front of a truck resulting in a broken headlight and beyond repairable fender on the passenger side. I took it to Potomac Motors, got a quote, and they said I could either order the parts through them or find parts myself. I found a few fenders already, but they either had rust or had dents on them. So, I was going to pick up a new one Subaru Genuine Parts instead. I was wondering if anyone had or knew of someone selling a passenger headlight. I also posted on Nasioc and checked out Brandywine Junkyard with no luck.

Thank you!

I'm sorry about your beautiful car, Adam. I hope you're back on the road, back to normal, in no time.

Damn, that sucks!!! I'll direct Matt (G) over here. I think he knows a couple of Subaru only junk yards :)

Good luck getting her back together! Let us know if there is anything that we can do!

Sorry to read this...but PMPAutoGroup off of NASIOC is a subaru only junk yard. He's usually got anything you could ever need in stock...granted he's located outside of Lancaster PA. He does ship as well, just make sure you look closely over the pictures if you choose this option...he is parting wrecked cars afterall. I've had great experiences there all the times I've needed parts.

Thank you everyone! Yeah I'm pretty bummed about it, especially since I had most of the front end repainted a year and a half ago. Of course my inspection is in March too. He is very much still drivable though, just a little embarrassing for me.

Thank you iceyinferno. I'll PM PMPAutoGroup and see if he has a headlight. :D.

I was just looking for the one headlight, but came across a pair that was pretty good. So I went ahead and got them. The good news is, the lenses will match and not one foggy and the other clear.

Best of luck, broski. Hate that it happened but any crash that doesn't injure people is a good crash.
