I have the regular HKS Hiper and it sounds great. Also love the look of the carbon TI. I would look over on NASIOC for a used one. They can be had for less than half of the purchase price.

if i buy it used.. ie ebay or from a private seller any things i should look out for? and also. .i heard when u swap out the exhaust you'll also have to get the down pipe? any truth to this?

My exhaust bolted up to my stock downpipe.

Another thing to consider is the volume (sound, not quantity) of the exhaust. NoVA police are very against ANY exhaust modification. In the land of daily drivers, the "quiet" after market exhaust is king...

Well I definately heard that the HKS is on the loud side, but I also have never run into trouble w/ it. Except this one time I thought I was about to get pulled over and the cop pulled up beside me and asked me what kind of exhaust I was running. I was scared to answer then he said he had a WRX at home and was wondering how I liked my setup. Cool cop. Well I'll stop the jabber some time soon.
