Is this correct?

Post by VietGuy »

Hey guys, I finally got around to install my down pipe and exhaust. I have an 08 WRX STI and I installed a Cobb down pipe and Borla exhaust using OEM bolts, nuts and springs. Is the donut suppose to be expose? Should I be concern that the springs are compressed? Does it look correct to you? Thanks.

Yes, that looks to be correct.
Actually, it looks just like mine.

Is there a leak? That's the sure answer to "is this right or wrong?" ;-)

Remember, you want some flex in that section! You might actually want to loosen it a little!

As Gabe said, if it's ain't leaking, no worries :)

Congrats on the new exhaust!!

Good choice putting $4,000 rims on your 1990 Honda Civic. That's like Betty White going out and getting her tits done.
