4/5EAT Performance valve body kits

Post by Sabre »

I've seen this posted and commented on over at NABISCO a lot, and since we have some people running these, I figured I would share :)
IPT - Performance Valve Body Kits

I've seen Level 10 mentioned a bunch of times, but mostly in a negative light.

Good choice putting $4,000 rims on your 1990 Honda Civic. That's like Betty White going out and getting her tits done.

It's usually the rear that ends up going, isn't it?

That certainly is what I have read. Every long term case I have researched indicates the front diff/clutch assembly is pretty robust and isn't really the issue. My biggest issue is the cost/benefit analysis. It is a very pricey piece of kit. I'm not certain I could justify it on a 5 year old car, let alone a 10+ one.

Sadly, my rear diff is starting to 'clunk' under hard acceleration, so I see some cash outlay coming in the future.
