Joe did something similar to his STI and I have to say it was MUCH quieter than mine.

Good choice putting $4,000 rims on your 1990 Honda Civic. That's like Betty White going out and getting her tits done.

WHAT IS THIS WITCHCRAFT?!?!?

Does this work to isolate road noise or just engine noise and vibrations? Cause if this will quiet down the highway ride I will do this in a heartbeat on my 2.
All my cars have drum brakes and are sub 200 hp, what am I doing with my life?

Each product has a different purpose. The CLD tiles (similar to dynamat) helps reduce resonance from vibrating panels. The MLV helps block noise. The foam serves as a gasket to separate the MLV from the panel. The car is definitely quieter on the highway.

George, keep in mind that this added 130+lbs to his car. The 2 might need a small turbo or electric assist motor to regain acceleration.

With sound dampening you have to "go big or go home." I tried doing a single layer of raammat and it did almost nothing for my WRX. Nice to see someone doing it the right way.
