Brammo Empulse: 100mph, 100 mile range

Pretty cool electric bike... it's as fast as an sv650.

I'd be really worried about a silent bike on the street though. I'd need police sirens or something to make my presence known.

I often see this guy riding down 8th street, always has his stereo cranked louder than the pipes on his Harley.
the Empulse is :pimp:

I could care less about the noise, I'd love to have zero vibration as I go down the road....

well if most cars can't see you in the first place, what happens when they can't hear you either?

i'm intrigued... kinda.

my bike with two riders, side, tank and tail bags loaded, still gets almost 50mpg.

how much am i saving over an electric bike again? never mind the fact that my 1300cc bike puts down over 160hp, runs low 11's stock and can go for 300 miles on a tank.

it's a neat concept, but i just don't see it being the better practical choice yet for motorcycles.

or not for me anywho.
