The headers are awesome. The second thing I noticed was something strange around the front fork. (At first I thought didn't have a front fork, but after reading the article that feature wasn't mentioned.) And what is that spring/shock in front of the engine?! This is one cool bike.

And now I know it's 20 years old with CF bodywork and a hand cast 4 valves per head alloy engine. Very cool bike.

there's a steering damper on the side and a vertical shock with actuator that appears to go back to the rear swing arm. Looks like as the rear compresses, it "pulls" the front-mounted shock down.

his story is awesome and tragic. he turned the industry on its head and died way too young. so frigging cool for a privateer racer.
