JSC Speed

Post by Mr Kleen »

I ordered a K&N Typhoon intake from http://www.JSCSpeed.com on Monday and had a FedEx sticker on the door on Wednesday. so today I get the intake in my position but when I opened the box, K&N had included the wrong filter. :notcool: I called JSC Speed and spoke with Andrew. after explaining the issue he asked if he could do some investigating and get back to me. he called back in about 90 minutes and said that he had opened every intake they had in stock and only 2 of them had the correct filter element! as of this posting he's shipping the correct filter and return label to me and coordinating with K&N to get the rest of the filters replaced.

edit: forgot to say thanks to DrWRX for his recommendation of JSC Speed. Thanks, D.

CN: JSC Speed has great customer service and fast shipping to the NoVA area. 8)

They are the guys who worked with my insurance company to get my coil-overs replaced from accident #2. They looked high and low for a spring and valve matchup to my fronts. When that was not possible, the told how it was unsafe to have unmatched suspension components, and the insurance covered the full replacement of all 4- corners.

I do miss my old setup though...

I vaguely remember hearing about this... Just makes them even coolerer in my book. 8)

I've had very good luck ordering from them in the past. Glad to hear they're treating you well.

I do have to wonder what's up w/ K&N though. I have always known them to be perfect over the years and to have that many wrong of one item at one shop is really screwy.

the filter came in it's own box inside the intake kit's box. the filter box has the correct part number but K&N put the wrong filter in it. hopefully I'm the first person it happened to and nobody else got screwed. and hopefully the correct filter comes tomorrow so I can install the intake...

Well, I'll add yet another testimony for them! I ordered some things from them after talking to Justin. They didn't have exactly what I wanted in stock, so he offered a similar product at a discount so that he could complete my order! Since I wanted things matching though, I decided to take what I could and put the rest on backorder. My order arrived very quickly and accurately!
