Body Shop

Post by gsx-lex »

Where do all the cool hip and happening members of DCAWD go to get their Mad Tyte Whips Painted? I need some bodywork/Paint done on that big red expensive lawn ornament I once called a car.

Well, I go to wherever USAA tells me to go. Might not the cheepest price but they hold the shops to a warranty and workmanship gaurantee.

BTW, do not take it to George's Collision Repair on Fullerton. Rat bastards!

A,

I had my Miata completely repainted at National Auto Body in Rockville (Parklawn Drive) a few years ago. I became good friends with them back when I worked over at BMW Excluservice, right next door. They can do a whole-car job quite well. Not the cheapest, but great work.

I can get you the number of a guy that did my fender and wing. He's a manager at a paint shop and does a LOT of side work for subaru's. His work is amazing, and he charges next to nothing.
