Anyone hear what happened? Not finding any local news reports.

From another forum.
They say it was a turn 1 incident.
I just spoke with one of the FATT instructors who was there yesterday. From his report it sounds less serious than some of the speculation here. Two were transported, one by helicopter but both were reported as conscious. He said the worst injury was from a piece of fencing that hit one of the occupants.

This is all just second hand and incomplete information. However it suggests that we don't jump to any dire conclusions.

BSR historically tries to down play and shield on track incidents from public view. Hopefully that is the only reason for the somewhat cryptic Facebook post.

Oh, that sucks :(
For those that don't know, Turn 1 is the first half of the essentially U turn at the end of the big straight. It's where some of the more deadly accidents happen unfortunately :(

I hope all those involved are ok, and if not, I'll be thinking of their families.

Good choice putting $4,000 rims on your 1990 Honda Civic. That's like Betty White going out and getting her tits done.
