North Meets South

Post by Cereb Daithi »

Well I'm planning a trip down to the DC area.

It'll most likely be the weekend of the 10th. The main purpose of the visit is to meet with Jason (ElZorro) in regards to a contract.

The secondary purpose of this trip is to purchase the suspension off will, hopefully purchase a full exhaust from HotSam, and meet with as many DCAWDers as possible. I have no clue exactly how long I'll be there. If I spend a night I have no idea where it will be... I'm not even sure where exactly I'll be meeting at. I'd love to catch up with as many of you guys as I can since I've been meaning to take a trip down there.

I'll have more info as the week gets closer. For now though...anyone interested?

I should be around. I don't think I've seen Jason since the last time I saw you, Dave. :rolllaugh: inside joke hint: I've never met Dave in person.

Wana know something funny? Jason and Will are the only DCAWDers I've met. (with the exception of izzodesh who doesn't really count since he was only on here briefly). Out of how many forester drivers are in this club... i've only been meeting them.

Well, I guess we'll have to figure out a way to meet so you can say you've met 100%.

On top of that I might want to try to get the exhaust installed while I'm down there if you guys are willing to help. I can do it here but I figure many hands make light work.. .or whatever the hell that saying is. I've only ever worked with catbacks so a full HBE is a new thing for me. You guys would probably know more about installing it than I would. That's all dependent on if i get the headers before I make the trip or not though.

I've got an O's game on Sunday, but I'm free on Saturday. Do you have an idea of what you're doing on which days?

damn. i passed by arlington and considered eating dinner there. i couldnt check the boards here so i had no clue you guys were there...

I went around the balitmore beltway and then round the DC beltway on my way to quantico. here is my official "was this you?" section.

Saw a blue rex heading eastbound near the one balitmore exit
Blue STi at 1:45 heading Eastbound on 495
Silver wex wagon at 1:52 also Eastbound on 495
Another Silver Rex at 2:05 on 495 Westbound (think it was a wagon. can't remember) with license PBUERA (i think)
Blue STi at 2:30 on 95 Northbound

...and...

a guy that looked suspiciously like chuck driving a hyundai sonata on 83N towards baltimore. I have no clue why chuck would be in a hyundai sonata.. but i swear it looked like him.

1) The Chuck does NOT drive a Hyundai.
2) The Chuck don't know where 83N is.
3) Is that racial comment?!?!?! :D

Heading towards Baltimore. 83 north takes you up past York, PA. 83 South links up with I-695 (Baltimore beltway). I didn't think it was you since the chuck-imposter had a longer beard like in some of your older pics.. but as far as I know you keep it trimmed and under control. Besides.. i didn't think LeChuck drove a hyundai.... even if it was a rental

Hmm... looks like the trip might be delayed until next weekend.

Who would be free the weekend of the 17th?
