he is someone i have been meaning to see, although after seeing oakenfold (that was eh) I'm thinking of keeping the $100 and spending on music by him :)

Also, the only place to really see and feel a DJ work is in a club :)

im sorry you had to go waste your ime to go see oakenfold... lol i coulda warned you it'd be crap.

a) the bastard is too popular so there are going to be massive crowds to compete with

and

b) he's fallen into the category of lazy DJ that doesnt seem to innovate anymore

Chuck needs beer, relaxation, and girls with humongous gonzo boobs. Hopefully they'll have at least two out of three. ;)

Me + 1. We've got VIP passes and a parking pass already. Found my CamelBack, so pretty much good to go. :) Bummed I can't bring my good camera ('detachable lenses') but if this is going to be as crazy as I think it might be, I'll be glad it was left at home.

I've got my very expensive ticket stashed away in a good place. Hopefully I'll remember exactly where that place is before Saturday.

Now that kicked ass... We were right on the rail for Clap Your Hands, about two people back for New Pornographers, and about two people back from the rail for The Who and The Killers... incredible day.

d00d, thats me standing right behind you!!! :) Yea, it was so loud I couldn't hear you on the phone or understand my voicemails, and then when we tried to get to you we made our way about 15 yards into the crowd and came to a dead stop... never been in a complete crush like that before, crazy stuff.

And the only number I had for Gabe was going straight to voicemail. :?:

I saw James Holden. He was... alright. I wanted to see Digweed because I've heard so much about him but I've never heard his music. Alas however we got caught up watching The Who as they sang thier CSI montage among other hits.
