Sunday 3/5 Goat trail hike

Post by Sabre »

Hey all,
A group (DCOC - DC Outdoors Club) is taking a hike on the Goat trail on Sunday morning. I'm one of the drivers, so if you want to go, let me know and I can take you out there. If you can, let me know before 3PM today if you want to go

Here is how the groups are arriving:

MEET AT ROSSLYN METRO, 9:45am
Passengers:
Steve
Pamela
Emily (+ Izzy?)
Ivan (+ Megan?)
Caroline
Me

Drivers:
Chad
Kat
Brian
Julian (+ friends?)
Chris (+ friends?)

We'll leave at 10:00am sharp (leaving any extra cars) and meet the following people at the park just before 10:30:
Jen
David
Robert
Taryn
Liwen (+ brother?)

is it a difficult trail? I'm out of shape and no longer an avid hiker but I'd like to go. if I go I'll drive because I only get weekend visitation with my girl, it's Metro 5 days a week for me...

BG Trail is a fun hike. Not bad at all. There's a little bit of climbing involved.

I can't make this one, sounds cool though.

As Colin said, it's not too challenging. The is very little vertical involved, just a small climb on a hill. I'm sure one of the ladies wouldn't mind helping ya out ;)

Good times all :) Ended up being between 12-15 of us and we did the entire trail backwards.
