Any good pizza recomendations in the area? What is your flavor?

Been all over the NoVa area and always looking for good place to stop.

My favorite by far is Don's.

:plusone: for Valentino's.

I need to try some of the others mentioned! I tried 2Amy's two years ago and wasn't impressed. It was good, but not as much as the hype said it should have been.

The best place I have had in the states (best was still from a little place in Italy) was actually in Florida (West Palm Beach). Guy was straight off the boat from Italy and made an incredible pie!

2Amys is good but not worth the drive in, for us. We REALLY like Fireworks in Leesburg.....excellent and they use locally grown/raised ingredients. http://www.fireworkspizza.com/ they apparently have one in Arlington now, too.

I was in Stuttgart last spring, visiting a local Subaru buddy who took a contracting job at Patch Barracks. We went to downtown Stuttgart with his three daughters so they could show me the palace there and of course the main drag with all the shops. The kids wanted to eat at this 'incredible restaurant'. We walk like a mile and finally get there...its Vapiano's. The line was out the door...standing room only inside. It took as an hour to get our food and I was still in shock....the one at Dulles Town Center is usually a ghost town. Guess its the best pizza place available there in Germany. :notcool:

I ate their a half dozen times or so a couple years back, mostly out of necessity (Leesburg is the suck for pizza). Found their prices a bit high for what you got.
