silicone hose for AVO WRX TMIC

Post by Mr Kleen »

I'm in need of a new silicone hose for my "new to me" AVO intercooler. I haven't done any measurements yet, I was just curious to see if anybody could save me the effort of actually taking measurements and trying to order a generic hose. I need a black or red hose, just to further complicate matters.

can anybody help out a down-on-his-luck fellow club member?

Try checking some of these places or calling to get measurements or to find a similar hose:

http://www.avoturboworld.com/avoshop/pr ... cts_id=110

http://www.rallitek.com/products.asp?ID ... =&ACC=&SP=

Rallitek has to know of a hose that you can use or get. Good luck...sorry you got a blue hose.

MachV sells smaco hoses of all shapes and sizes.

Just take the hose off the IC and go to MachV and see what they have. I'm sure they have stuff that will fit.

the hose is a tapered L shape with a slight bend in the long section. might be hard to match up with stock hose pieces, but I may not have a choice. I sent an email to AVO's US distributor asking for a price on a replacement. they said they would have to order one from Australia and then they could sell me one from one of the kits they have in stock. but they didn't give me a price yet. and it also seems that the only color available is blue. no red and no black. :x

It's a samco hose for crying out loud! I can't believe there isn't one you can find without going to Austrailia. Go here and see if Samco has it on their site:

http://www.samcosport.com/us/elbows.asp

I've got to believe they have one that will fit or at least come close so that you can just cut it to the right length.

Just give up Gabe...you'll never find a red one!

Yeah, you should be able to find something close. If you can send me a pic w/ dimensions, I will find you one
