Hey what do you all think of the JDM 205s? I found one with computer and harness

IRRC they are NOT OBDII Compliant, so there is no way to pull codes, or to pass inspection.
Outside of that the JDM 205s are an improvement over USDM in that they have stronger internals and have AVCS.
My understanding is that they will take a USDM ECU the AVCS just won't work (it will default to high lift mode) so your top-end will still have it's full punch.

Hmm, if you decide to use this setup but swap OBD-ii capable ecu in and lose AVCS functionality, could I buy the AVCS solenoid and lines off of you? It is easy to block off the ports and isolate the components, or so I have read.
I have been trying to source them to replace the ones that (insert MD motor/trans builder name here) broke when they turned the box on its side. Have only been able to find complete heads...
