Some news on Subaru models...

Post by Sabre »

So picking up the latest issue of Drive, we find a couple of things:

New Forrester:
Going from 210->230 HP (no Tq #'s)
Changed gear ratio (I'm guessing they wanted better MPG, so they put the WRX rear in... so there goes their tranny!)
Nice styling changes

New STI:
Improved engine (Hmm, makes me wonder what they are up to!)
Ok styling changes

Good choice putting $4,000 rims on your 1990 Honda Civic. That's like Betty White going out and getting her tits done.

Wow, even with the HP increase (assuming an equal trq increase) it's going to take alot of the zip out of the Forester...

I don't know, it might now... depends alot on waht they actually chose, I was just making an assumption that they would go with the WRX rear. That's probably why they upped the horses though, so that it would remain zippy :)
