Two Subarus on Consumer Reports' Top 10 List

Post by WRXWagon2112 »

Not that I respect Consumer Reports much, but it is nice to see some national recognition for the brand ...

CNN Article here.

Fun to drive: Impreza WRX/STI

Small SUV / SUV Less Than $30,000: Forester

All other categories were won by Japanese nameplates (mostly Honda). Not a single American or European nameplate in the list. Although, several of the Hondas are actually assembled in North America ...

Yeah, the forester has been:

Top of its class in CR for a while now.

Best in class for 5 star front and side crash rating.

Car and Driver's top pick for Small SUV's in the "5 best trucks" category for 3 years straight now.

I like my forester.

Good choice putting $4,000 rims on your 1990 Honda Civic. That's like Betty White going out and getting her tits done.

I do feel pretty good about owning a Subaru and riding metro ever day. with the amount of miles you can put on a Subaru with proper maintenance, it should last me for a good while after it's paid off. even if I did get a 5 year loan. 8)
