It was a long commute this evening, but I managed to spot a lot of vanity plates. Not all of these are "funny", but they're at least interesting.

TECHBKS (maybe an accountant for a tech company?)

WOR (I have no idea what this could be)

I TD TV (again, no clue. Would it help knowing that it was on a Chevy Monte Carlo? The new style, not the old one.)

WRU (??)

BSH1DO (an "out-of-time" samurai?)

9-5NOTME (on a BMW 330-something. Maybe he doesn't like the Saab 9-5?)

CELIAC
X-JET
4 CHP

SPEROR (again, I've gotta say "Huh?")

PNGW1N (maybe they work for Proctor & Gamble? Or they really love the .png file format)

U R MYN (on a tricked out C5)

I'm guessing Wide Open Road, someone who doesn't work 9-5 and Superior?

I'm thinking:

L MONKEE
CER3 STI
EVO KILR
STI W00T
NO CIVIC (for the ricers)

They could be Linux fans or just fond of small flightless birds.

Who Are You, or Why Are You, mebbeh?

9-5 not me. like I won't work a 9am-5pm job. Because, I mean who wouldn't like a Saab 9-5?

:plusone:

Chuck: I like "L MONKEE" the most, then "STI WOOT". I don't like "EVO KILR" nor "NO CIVIC" and I don't get "CER3 STI"

I saw this on the way into work this morning on a blue Miata:

DTHTRAP

I suppose with all the SUVs and minivans around here, driving a Miata is like being in a death trap.

Two funny ones:

"4CD AIR" on a silver WRX with a blond behind the wheel. (wasn't sure if the plate went with the driver or the car...)

"GIMP" on an STi with a handy-cap license plate. :)

The "Gimp" license plate is of a MAIC local who became paralized from a motorcycle accident last year, IIRC. He shipped his STi to COBB who retrofitted it for him to drive w/ a slick autodrive tranny. There is a thread on Nabisco somewhere...I will try to find it.

I saw these the other day:

...on a Toyota Solara convertible...
FUNSHY9

...on an Infinity G35 sedan...
IOC10
which, btw, was an Infinity Of Chantilly loaner car. Pretty slick, eh?
