Hey guys! I've been looking for a good car forum specific to the DC area and I finally found one! I was up for the inauguration and I was staying at a friend's office near 7th St SE and F St. There was a black WRX with silver STI wheels in the alley behind the office and it had a DCAWD sticker on it, so I figured I'd check it out.

I call DC home, but I'm currently going to Georgia Tech in Atlanta. I drive a 1993 Saturn SL1 5-speed and a 1998 Acura 3.5 RL auto, but I'm a BIG Subaru fan. When I have the money (AKA, when I graduate) I wanna get a white, eagle-eye ('06-'07) STI. I'll try to make it to some meets whenever I come home!

Yep, we know that WRX.
Welcome, and hope to see you at a meet sometime.
Best of luck at school and for your hopes of future STi ownership.

Woops, my b. I have to admit, my judgment may have been a little impaired that night.... :D

On a separate note, are there any race tracks near DC?

no worries, cars weren't the first thing on my mind last weekend either.

the nearest road course is Summit Point Motorsports Park. wiki link i've driven Summit Point Main and Jefferson Circuit and got a ride along on Shenandoah Circuit once.

ATL? Only been to the airport. That train confuses and infuriates me. I haven't done a "Welcome" post in a while. Let me see if I can get this right:

˙ǝʞɐɔ ɥʇıʍ pıʞ ʇɐɟ ɐ sɐ ʎddɐɥ sɐɥ noʎ sǝʞɐɯ ʇı ǝdoɥ ı ¡spɹɐoq ǝɥʇ oʇ ǝɯoɔlǝʍ

Dern it!
