3/S owner just found DCAWD

Post by Hannibalzero »

Just found this website. I have been a longtime 3000GT and Stealth owner, and wanted to say hello. Any other 3/S owners out there?

Hello! We don't really have any stealth or 3kgt owners that I'm aware of... But we have done a dyno day over at Altered Atmosphere where they have their orange one for sale, does that count? I've seen how quick they can become - holy :censor: !!

Welcome to teh boards!

Close enough. :) I had been to AAM a few times back in the day. Just curious, but how do the Suby guys like them now?

Last time I was there, it seemed that they worked mostly on WRXs and 350Zs. Going off of their product list, it looks like they are almost exclusively Nissan now.

I personally haven't had any work done there. I remember talks about fuel rails or something for the 2.5 liter Subys.

I do remember their reeeeeeeeeeely nice CNC machines though

Welcome to DCAWD! We've had a couple of stealth/3000gt owners come out, but they always seem to live far away, so they don't come out often (hmmm, I've seen maybe 5 in our 4 year history). I'd love to see more out at the events though! I remember the yellow 3000GT that was owned by one of the AA guys... it was ridiculous!

Great to have you on the boards and definitely try to bring the 3000GT out!

Hmmm. Never saw their CNC machinery. The only metal work I had them do was a couple of welds to a downpipe. Their bead was fairly clean though.

I have a 280ZX Turbo and used to hang out with the 90+ twin-turbo crowd, which had a lot of 3000GT owners around (there was, and probably is, a strong rivalry between the two cars). Good to have you aboard!

Thanks. I'd love to make it out to a meet or two. Depending on how my schedule goes, I may try to make it out for the track day at capitol.

That Yellow AAM car probably owned by Chuck Theiss. I had never seen it in person, but he posted some pretty decent dyno numbers with it.

Welcome aboard. Its nice to have some non subies. I had a buddy with one of the last year 3000gt vr4s. It was a pearl white and absolutely gorgeous. Hope you can come out to our meets.

Where in Springfield? Rockville may be a bit far, but Springfield is just down 395 from me.

Mr. Kleen already owns that excuse, please choose another.

Yeah, Springfield meets are fun too. Usually located around Springfield Plaza near Hard Times. You could catch a ride with someone for the MD meet. Only takes me 40 minutes from work to get there. Plus, I get to shoot things and drive worse than I already do on the video games after drinking.
