This is kind of cheating. I spotted this at the Opel Design Studio open house a couple weeks ago. When I saw it in profile I thought it was an Aston Martin Lagonda. But the Lagonda is a sedan??? This thing is much more rare than that.

We saw a white and a grey Alfa Romeo 4C on our Black Forrest/Alps/Dolomite driving trip. I don't have any pictures of the white one but I'll try to grab a video cap of the gray one (GoPro was rolling but no SLR shots of it).

We also saw a group of 10 Corvettes (from 1970s to the C7), a group of about 25 classic Fiat 500s, 3 Morgans, 2 Lambo's, 2 458s, a group of 3 random Italian exotics all traveling together at various times/places.

Now those are some spots! I'm really interested in test driving one of the $C's, I mean 4C's  That car just sounds like stupid fun, but I thought it was going to be around 50'ish... not 75ish...

I think it's a great car, but for my money I'd buy a Cayman (if I had to have a European car) or C7 (if I just wanted performance). I know the 4C will be more rare and interesting to look at than either of those choices, but I don't have the money to make a 99% style decision. Hell, that's why I ended up here. :poke: :rolllaugh:

Saw a Cadillac XLR near Innsbruck, Austria on Saturday. With 15,460 manufactured over 8 years (eight?!?) XLRs are rare anywhere, but in Europe they're hen's teeth.

I think someone in Weisbaden got an early Christmas present: I've been seeing a black F12 Berlinetta around town a lot the past 2 weeks.

(Side note: I can never spell "virtual" correctly but I got "Berlinetta" right on the first try)

Spotted a yellow 458 Speciale parked on the street the other day while driving home from work. I should have walked back downtown and taken a picture.

Saw the 458 Speciale parked in the same spot again yesterday but by the time I parked and walked back down the hill he was gone. I'll get a photo one of these days...

I'm guessing it was a real one and not a 3/5 series with the badge... NICE!

Unless he installed a dual exhaust, the Alpina graphics (that are ugly) and the Alpina wheels (that are hard to get) it was real. They actually sell them here. ;-)

Spotted my first i8 with Wiesbaden plates this weekend. Not what I would get for that money, but glad it's out there making the roads a little more interesting for the rest of us.

Also saw a CTS-V wagon. I'm just going to sit here and imagine that it was a manual. :pimp:
