Good choice putting $4,000 rims on your 1990 Honda Civic. That's like Betty White going out and getting her tits done.

no, a 328i M Sport with the sport auto (ZF 8HP with paddles). It's plenty quick....100mph 1/4 mile trap speed and 30+ mpg on 87 octane. Now, I'll be reflashing it as soon as Cobb does their thing.

As with most recent forced induction German cars, its underrated.

Congrats!

i tested one and they are properly quick and excellent all-round cars. I like this new batch more than any previous base-model 3-er.

My only issue is having to pay the German tax to get power seats, etc.

I find those numbers to be a worst case scenario. If it's a 115F and humid, you'll have 240 hp with the A/C running.
All my cars have drum brakes and are sub 200 hp, what am I doing with my life?

Looks good in blue. I like the stock wheels on the M-Sport package.
I've seriously considered trading in the 135i for a 335i sedan. I really need the room when I have visitors and I wouldn't mind going back to a manual transmission.

So, I just swapped the chrome tips for black chrome tips and also swapped the red rear reflectors for IND versions (stock, but painted...in this case Shadow Grey to match the diffuser).

While under the car, I see <gasp> a 3" main exhaust pipe. Heck, it might even be 3.5". It's BIG.

to be honest, I would have loved to do that. This was a spur of the moment purchase off the showroom floor (her choice).

we'll see. every time I ask her, she rolls her eyes at me.

I bought some Rial Salerno's for it for winter. The M Sport wheels are stored up in the rack over the garage.

So pretty! Please tell me there is an upgrade plan for this vehicle.
Maybe just a juicebox, or a down-pipe and juicebox, or an intake, down-pipe and juicebox?

being the wife's car, she doesn't want me to touch it. I have to say...its already fast. much faster than I gave it credit for. I took it out to Cars and Coffee on Saturday morning and my buddy had a hard time keeping up in his C300 Sport (and I wasn't pushing it...it just wants to GO).

BMW has a power pack for the 335 and 320D. Rumor is they'll release one for the 328i If so, we'll probably go that route unless someone else releases a reflash (i.e. Cobb Tuning). I'm not a fan of piggybacks....comes from watching a buddy have issues with his Vishnu ProCede on his E90 335i..

we ill be getting some of the new M Performance parts. Carbon spoiler, carbon mirror caps, matte carbon/Alcantara interior pieces, etc. There's also an exhaust available for it from the dealer. That might be done come spring....it doesn't get driven much so we're not in much hurry.
