Window Squeak Solved!

Post by WRXWagon2112 »

So my front passenger window has been making a horrendous squealing noise every now and then as it's being lowered. I finally got fed up and did some searching for a solution. I should have known it'd be an easy fix.

Got some silicone spray lubricant (this brand). Cleaned the window first, lowered it, sprayed the lubricant into the vertical piece of rubber on the front of the door, and tested. No squealing!

So if anyone else is having this problem - now you know what to do. That's my PSA for the week. ;)

Good choice putting $4,000 rims on your 1990 Honda Civic. That's like Betty White going out and getting her tits done.
