-If you have regular street tires, make sure you air them up to at
least 5 psi above recommended pressures. There will not be a
compressor present, so please be self sufficient with air.
note: i will have a compressor at the event, so if anyone needs to top off, see me.

on that note, i'll add this to the original post.

Shoot. I'm going to need to borrow a helmet if nobody doesn't mind.

Adam:

Brian will have his, probably the best chance of a size match.

Ben:

Excellent! Great to have around, amazing what a couple PSI up or down can do.

I'm not singling you out at all, just happened to quote someone who doesn't can has helmet. I promise.

For those who don't have helmets - they are usually regarded as "unique" devices, meaning, for one person to use. It's certainly not a law per se, but kind of regarded as an unspoken understanding.

Would you want to wear some other person's jock strap? Or someone else's wetsuit? It's kind of along those same lines.

I wouldn't want someone's head-grundle all up in my brain bucket. Ewwwww...

Again, I'm just here to spread the cheer. Not trying to funk up a good time. 8)

^^^^ Which is precisely why I got my own helmet when I went out for that first autoX class. I don't need someone else's head cheese funkin up my do.

I could bring a radio (two, actually) but I don't think that'll help everyone else with the caravan. All you southerner's from south of the Potomac...

Bring radios, it makes working cones much more entertaining if you can have some chatter.

No you’re absolutely right. I agree completely. This is my first one though. I would like to try it out first before I drop some money on a helmet and for some odd reason decide I don't like it.

And remember, don't pee in the wet suit

There are two kinds of SCUBA divers, those that pee in their wetsuits and those that lie about not doing it.

You get down deep, the water is like 55 degrees, you'll do anything to warm up. :)

Ok, vote!!! Checkers, KFC or Subway? My preference is for Checkers or KFC, getting Subway for 15 people is a long process, short of getting a couple long subs.

Guess that would be myself, Darrin or Colin with the wagons... I don't have a problem doing it, but I'm going to be there really damn early, you'll want to put it outside (on the side of the house, etc) so I can ninja it at about 5:30 or earlier.

Hmm, wait, it doesn't fit through the passthrough in your back seat? The other thing to try would be to lay back your passenger seat and belt it in.

The contraption is too big to fit through the passthrough.

The one time when I could make myself useful, and I can't deliver. Sorry guys.

If I'm going to grab it, I'll have to run down to casa de turbo this evening. There's no way I'm going to get up even earlier to head down to springfield and back.

Jas - let me know what's easier for you.

Ok, looks like Checkers it is. Take a look at the menu and have an idea of what you'd want:
