Any particular reason why mods are spamming the thread?

Ok, in the continuing saga to move this effort towards being a Charlie Foxtrot... The lot is unavailable that week. Brian is recommending we pick a day the week prior: 27MAY-30MAY. So again, please send me a note with your availability for those days.

Thanks all! We'll get this figured out, promise!

ugh.

i don't have a great feeling about this so far. i have to request the day (whatever day) off SOON so we need to get a day NAILED DOWN or i'll have to ask for my money back. i can't keep putting the request off, as my boss is getting pissed about me switching the request this many times. not too impressed with brian's scheduling system for a group of folks who are paying good money.

i don't care what day. the 27th, the 30th, WHATEVER... just pick one and pick it soon.

:plusone: This is starting to interfere with other stuff now. Just pick a date as late in the week as possible (i.e. the 30th) since it was supposed to be the following week anyway and go for it. Hopefully we can get THAT date and adjust our calendars accordingly.

Sounds good, thanks for the response guys.

I know this is a PITA, but with having to coordinate 12 of us, plus Brian and his co-instructor, plus Fedex Field, it makes it pretty challenging. Thanks for the patience so far!

I have an email into Brian but nothing back yet. This stuff is extra for him in addition to his normal day job (audio/video engineer in the broadcast world if I remember right), so not always an instant response.

Thanks for being patient everyone.

I spoke to Brian this past Sunday at the DC AutoX and he apologized for not getting back to us. He's been swamped this past week.

Traded emails with him this morning. He understands and shares our desire to get this figured out ASAP, he has to request time off work as well.

Class confirmed for 30MAY08!

If this date doesn't work for anyone that has paid I will get you a refund and I will find a replacement (we have an informal wait list).

I need everyone to post or PM me that they are good to go for this date. If I don't hear from you I will assume you are!

Look back here in a couple weeks and I'll get some notes (addresses, exact times, helmet, etc) and tips (tire pressures, clean out your car, gas, etc). I'll also have some lunch options picked out that we can vote on.

Also, the folks that paid with PayPal, I'll need to get a little more cash from you since each of you didn't add the extra for the Paypal tax. We can handle that either by a) you giving me a little bit of cash at the event (or before) or b) you fend for yourself on lunch.
