Amusement parks are just about the only thing I don't do in the rain. Sorry.

Not to mention that if a t-storm rolls through and they shut the park down, that's the end of the day.......

Ok, so pick a couple bars to go hit instead. :)

I'm all down for making the trip anyways, as long as we know we got something to do if the park goes Tango Uniform. $45 in gas isn't much fun if you don't get anything for it. :)

I've got a friend in Newport News who could take us to a couple of great bars. That is, of course, if you don't mind that he drives a bright yellow Mustang GT.
:puke:

Plus, the $47 we would've spent on admission would make EXCELLENT drinking money! :friday:

Amen to that. Anyway - I'm just gonna keep an eye on the thread and whatever you all decide to do that's where Steph and I will show up. Have a safe drive!

Talked to Julian - we're a go for tomorrow. Weather is gonna be wet in the morning and early afternoon, clear off for the evening. We'll gather at 7am, go grab some breakfast (Silver Dinner at Springfield Mall) and then head out.

Hundred some-odd dollar day on 40% weather is kinda crappy odds.....someone shoot me a text as you all get closer in and we'll figure out the specifics on heading to Williamsburg. It's only about 40 minutes away so even if we leave last minute it's not a huge deal.

GREAT time all. Weather could not have been better! Rained a little on the way down and then never rained after we arrived. Sun came out and it was in the 60/70's all day/night!

The Griffin is a great ride, but I wish it was longer.

The haunted woods (both of them) were great. I hope they keep them for next year!

I'll upload pictures as soon as I get a chance :)

It only took about 23 years but I was finally able to ride the LochNess Monster! <insert lewd joke here>

Those who didn't make really missed out. The weather could not have been better for this time of year. The park wasn't even all that crowded. The longest line we stood in was like 40mins for one of the Halloween attractions.

Sammi, long time no see! We hadn't talked about it in detail, but there is certainly a level of interest. I can get passes for a 10% discount through work, or if we get a group big enough we may be able to get discount tickets. They are open weekends through OCT26.

I'll start up a thread and see what it looks like!
