Glass Onion @ The Griffin Tavern (Flint Hill VA) - Fri 27MAY

Post by ElZorro »

Hey folks, a buddy of mine from work is playing with his band, Glass Onion, at the Griffin Tavern this Friday night. Details at their website. http://www.griffintavern.com/ Glass Onion (as you could probably guess from the name) is a Beatles cover band. The lead singer is very good, and all of the guitar work is top notch.

I went about a month ago, the drive out is beautiful (a ways on 66 but then off onto twistys), the tavern is great, food is excellent and the band is awesome.

Shout out if you are intersted!

- Jason (Elzorro) - Hell yeah!
- Alan (WRXWagon2112) - maybe

Friday night, eh? I think I might make it out to this one. Put me as a "maybe".

Sure thing!

And also, can you take a moment and post a full size version of your avatar? Hard to see when they're so small... :)

My pleasure. Good band, nice bar. I'd like to head out there again. Hopefully a few more people can join us - especially for that drive. Those twists and turns would make for a great group drive.

That's what I keep on hearing (about the band and the road). I'll make it out there soon!

Good choice putting $4,000 rims on your 1990 Honda Civic. That's like Betty White going out and getting her tits done.
