Huzzah! Renaissance Festival 10/1

Post by Mr Kleen » Fri Aug 25, 2006 2:42 pm

yes, that time of year is here: time to use the word "Huzzah!" time to eat all manner of food served on a stick! time to watch Imperial Stormtroopers attempt to not look out of place at a jousting tourney!

of all the dates that the Maryland Renaissance Festival is operating I picked Sunday, October 1 because the Mediaeval Baebes will be performing that weekend.

Check back often, as this thread will be updated with the latest info on when/where we'll meet up to caravan to the event and more cheeky jokes about food on a stick.

UPDATE 8/28: Date changed to Sunday, October 1

Um, Gabe... They are there at the Royal Stage 9/30 - 10/1.... So it would have to be either 9/30 or 10/1.....

Good choice putting $4,000 rims on your 1990 Honda Civic. That's like Betty White going out and getting her tits done.

It takes 1.5 hrs. from Dale City (without traffic) and they open at 10am. That's a bit early for me, but maybe right before noon and eat turkey legs while wandering? They close down around 6pm.
