no way to share? not that I WANT to share my helmet, but I hate to ask everybody to buy a helmet just for one class. but then maybe that would be a motivator to do more AutoX'ing...

lol, trust me... your helmet is going to become a stinky/sweaty mess. If you and the dude want to share body fluids, do that at home

120$ is WELL spent...

When I did my school *way back in the Dark Ages ;)* we let Brian know we had a couple of people without helmets and he brought out loaners. My mom and brother don't own helmets yet either.

Yes, you can share helmets, you just can't be running at the same time (no time to change helmets between runs). Brian does have some loaners, but I certainly aint sticking my head in those.

Gabe, when you figure out the hotel info, could you post it up?

I did an HPDE at Summit Point in July, I know all about helmet funk. I wasn't looking forward to sharing, just asking a question...

I bought my helmet after my first autox, but I also wear an XS. Not many loaners in that size.

$120 will just buy you a M2005 helmet. If you are planning on doing track days and buying a helmet, you will need to look at shelling out $250-300 for a SA2005 helmet.

did a quick search for "hotels near 923 Gilbert Rd, Aberdeen, MD 21001"

ended up at Orbitz and found the following:

Super 8 Aberdeen $66 for 2 person room. (looks like the best balance between price and a place I would feel safe sleeping...)
Quality Inn is $80 (2 person)
Holiday Inn is $100 (2 person)

Sounds good... are we all going to stuff into one room or should we go 2/room? Personally, I'm just glad we don't have the "Sexual Banana" on this trip (person from the Whistler trip).

I'm gonna see if I can crash at my brother's place up the road. If not, then I'd split a room.

Everyone's talking about hotel rooms so I double-checked the first post ... what time does this start? I don't see it anywhere.

Motorcycle helmets are fine as long as they have a sticker saying M2000 or newer.

One like this should work very well. I recommend going to a bike shop first though and doing a test fit before ordering online.
