I'm down for it. got some good shots of the SLR and got a good look at the Ford GT last year. not the best car show I've been to, but worth the trip. when are you thinking of going?

Dammit, I was about to post a thread about this...

I can get as many free tickets as needed (literally) - So shoot me a PM if you want some.

I would like to go this weekend, perhaps an impromptu DCAWD auto show meet?

MSCW is having their annual winter holiday party there on Sat. afternoon, partially sponsored by Mazda NA. :D So, Shawn and I will be there for the reduced admission and free food and hopefully we'll see some of you guys there too.

if I wear my MAZDA soccer jersey, can I get in on the free grub?

(before you ask: I have a friend who's parents are from Turkey so he's a huge soccer fan. I said it would be cool to have a Subaru soccer jersey. he and his wife looked but the closest they could find was Mazda, so they got me that as a Christmas present.)

Nope. :D Must be able to show your MSCW ID (only $26/year and killer benefits, if you drive a Mazda) and the last day to order tickets was today. Non-family member guests were $20 to get into the show and party.

So, if my remembering organ is functioning, we have what, 6 people from here interested, half of which are in Alexandria area.

I say we meet near a metro so we can take that in. As a suggestion, I'll throw in Silver Diner at Springfield at 9:45 in the AM.

That works for me Zak.

Anyone else want to chime in as far as tickets are concerned? So far we've got 6 people interested? I need to know how many tickets I need to get and I need to know by Wed at the latest. I agree with the metro idea as well. Bringing a caravan to the Auto Show is going to SUCK.

Post up if you wanna go!
