Nitrofill experience?

Post by LLTS1 »

Just wondering if anyone has any 1st hand experience using nitrogen in there daily driver. I've read tons of info about it over the last couple of years but have yet to find someone you uses it daily. If you have did you notice a difference in mpg or ride quality? Also any nightmare stories about needing to get a fill or is it fairly common even out in the boonies?

There were a number of articles that came out about this issues a few years back and pretty much everyone came down the same way. It's hype. With the exception of high temp track day performance, there is no noticible difference in any way to regular air.

I've heard the same thing, but that does not stop places from upselling you on it!

I put it right along 3D TV's....

I noticed across seasons.

With plain air, when it gets really cold the low-tyre-pressure warning light comes on.

With nitrogen, that didn't happen.

I reccomend Nitro-Fill to all of my customers just for the winter time. The freezing temps will cause a loss in pressure and activate the TPMS.
If you are conscious of your air pressure it's a non-issue. But if you never check them, it's a good fail safe.

The other benefits will be seen on track? I guess?

There aren't any worries about being in the boonies. If your tires are running low, you can mix compressed air and nitrogen.

Huh, That's interesting I didn't know you could mix them in the same tire.

70% Nitrogen in air.
Nature just pre-mixes it for you.
