Dan at Mach V had two sets of used OEM MINI wheels with runflat all-seasons for sale. $500 for one set and $600 for the other (more tread).

Would be cheaper (by a LOT) than getting a new set mounted (typically $1k). Tire Rack should have a good selection.....the Conti DWS I have for my winter set come in a runflat I think. They're a great all-around tire

A can of fix-a-flat, AAA membership, and maybe something like this for extra peace of mind. Stay away from the runflats. A buddy of mine swapped his out after owning his Mini for 3 years and he said he's kicking himself for not driving directly from the showroom to a tire dealer.

I'm only keeping the runflats on the 135 till winter, then I'm putting winter tires on the stock wheels followed by summer tires on new wheels next spring.

Runflats just plain suck. :puke:

Honestly, grab a set of Conti ExtremeContact DWS, Dunlop SP Sport Signature, General G-MAX AS-03 or Falken Zeix 912, throw a can of "fix a flat" in the trunk and call it done. All those tires have an XL Load range which is way beyond what a mini weighs, even with 4 people or hauling a load of slate. Even at 0 psi the sidewalls will support the vehicle weight for many MANY miles. If the "fix a flat" doesn't work she would have needed a new run flat as well.

There are tons of cobblestone streets, speed bumps (admittedly mostly on base) and most of the time you pull half on to the sidewalk to park. Then there's the general numbness and heavy turn-in all the time. I feel pretty confident in saying runflats suck.
