Q&A with 2012 USRC Champion Alvin Fong

Post by supasixfo »

thought i'd share this with you guys. i have to admit. it's pretty damn weird to be posting a magazine article about myself :P.

An excerpt:
Why did you get involved in rally?

Growing up in New England, there were a lot of twisty-turny roads. We used to mess around town on these dirt roads, all the time. One day in high school physics class, my friend Harrison, showed me this video on the internet:

The rest is history...

^^^ TRUTH

Love this:
When I got into college, I landed an internship my freshman year in 2005. I blew all my savings putting a down payment on an Evo that May. It was my first stick shift. I couldn’t even get it out of the parking lot.
VERY cool article on you man!

Lol, my name is Alvin Fong, but you guys can just refer to me as "cone killer" :P

I don't know if it had any more insight than I probably already talked about at previous DCAWD meets, but it was nice to get it all down on paper. Maybe we'll do a series on "The sh!t that really goes on during a rally that outsiders never see". Dave Shindle should be the feature - he already has decades of stories waiting to be told :D.
