i was wondering what everyone thinks the BEST tire is... this can be broken down into three categories

Cost,Performance,Life

i have heard alot of autoxers swear by azenis

i have heard nothing bad about

Kuhmo MX's
Yokohama Advans/Parada Spec 2's
Bridgestone RE750/850's

I cannot chime in with useful information here as I don't have much experience with street tire choices; but I am ramping up as well since we have more than few STX/STU cars to prepare for next season. So, I'd appreciate the information as well :)

On the other hand, pretty much all tire companies are coming up with new models, so you should not make any buying decisions this early for next season; unless you have to. We'll know more about tire model early next year.

Yes, there was a sale on them as production of them stopped :)

Hoosier S03's are quite a bit different than Bridgestone Potenza S03 Pole Positions :)

One is significantly better in the rain and lasts a lot longer :)

The (Potenza) S03's are miserably overpriced and overrated IMHO. They're good but it's almost $200 a tire mounted and balanced for 17's. You can get some excellent tires for a lot less. Pzero Nero, Kumho MX, Azenis, F1 DS3, or if you are not driving hard on them, get some good all seasons.
