2006 Subaru Challenge

Post by Katya4me »

The DC SCCA region will once again be running the Scoobie Doo challenge for Subaru of America. The date will be September 16th and will be at Ripken Stadium. Registration information will be opening shortly on MAE or NASIOC. Start lining up your rides if you want to participate and don't own one.

Who's going to be there??

Stupid good for nothing work connection...mutter...mutter...

Anyway, what I tried to post earlier is that you don't need to be an SCCA member, just drive a Subaru.

I'm in! Perhaps I'll have some better tires by then! but then again, I kinda liked the howling and screaming coming from the Kuhmo all-seasons! It sounded almost like tire torture.

how many times have you taken the AutoX class, Julian?

I won't make it to Aberdeen early enough to register/tech. I'm just thinking of stopping by to check out the cars and maybe hop a ride. I'm way to lazy to get up that early...

I'm in STX. I'm going to get eaten alive, I know, but I think it's the most appropriate category considering my mods. :(

Yeah turbo swaps & ECU modification/replacement put you (& me) into SM. Hell, even if I hadn't have changed turbos, my brakes would have put me into SM anyways.

Only air to air intercoolers are permitted, not cooling of the intercooler with water, ice, dry-ice, cryogenic liquids allowed. Good thing the water injection is after the intercooler. Oh, and ported and pollished intake manifolds are allowed. Yay for me.
