Our Season's Over...

Post by FT_SELGP »

Well, with last weekend's event, we are closing our Solo II season; setup, test and tune will of course continue though. I'd like to think that we have had a successful season, and we are thankful that many of you are trusting our judgement, experience and work to have your cars setup for next season. I am confident we will not disappoint you.

Official results for us:

- AS Championship (WDCR/SSCA), white STi
- SM Championship (WDCR/SCCA), Evolution
- ESP Championship (WDCR/SCCA), blue STi
- Subaru Challenge Event #1 Championship, blue STi
- DC ProSolo Round 3rd place trophy in AS, white STi
- DC ProlSolo Round 4th place trophy in ESP, blue STi
- DC ProSolo Round 3rd place trophy in SM, Evolution
- DC ProSolo Round Bonus Challenge Champion, blue STi
- NEDiv 2nd and 3rd place trophies in AS, white STi
- NEDiv 3rd place trohpy in ESP, blue STi
- NEDiv 3rd place trophy in SM, Evolution

I think that is about it. I am personally very satisfied with our first year's work; regardless of our finishing position or event, we always had the fastest Subaru (blue STi) on the field, with the exception of one event (which due to my poor driving).

One thing I can say about this season is that it was very intense for sure. We hope to do even better next season; but it certainly is going to be tougher. I have to also add that the STi is one heck of a car that rewards the driver with total joy and fulfillment.

I hope you all get to experience the limits of the WRX/STi platform, if you haven't already :)

Thank you all for your support.

Cheers,
FT

I'm looking forward to having a suspension that doesn't suck :)

edit: and having it tuned by someone that knows what they're doing ;)

Next season will be a blast... you guys that took the Garfield school have gotta come out to some actual events!

Good choice putting $4,000 rims on your 1990 Honda Civic. That's like Betty White going out and getting her tits done.
