Cadillac giving away $50 Amex cards

The above cadillac dealer says it's giving away $50 amex cards for testdriving one of their cars. I don't expect it will be easy to convince them to let you drive the XLR-V or the CTS-V. On the other hand, there are lots tougher ways to make fifty bucks.

don't just show up thinking that you can take a ride and then get the card.

You have to pre-register here, wait for an invitation (might not be from that specific dealer) and then take your printout to the established dealer for the ride. Then wait for the XX weeks for the card to be processed and mailed.

the CTS-V is pimp but if I were spending my own money I'd go for the DI 6 and the optional suspension and brake package. cheaper, better mileage, cheaper insurance, and just as fast as the last gen V. I'd also wait for the Coupe.

if I had the money.

(sorry for the semi-hijack)

I drove the STS-V and CTS-V when I was there last. Incidentally, during the period we were looking to buy a car and landed the subaru. and before we knew about the FQ-400. but as Zak points out, there's a hook. slimy bastids.
