BRZ's Available - Beyer Subaru

Post by thermobox »

Put this on the BRZ/FR-S Forums and figured I'd drop a copy here:

Hi Ladies and Gentleman,

I'm going to update this thread as we get cars or orders that customers have backed out of.

The vehicles details are as follows:

2013 Subaru BRZ 6MT Limited in World Rally Blue - In-Stock

2013 Subaru BRZ 6MT Limited in Crystal Black - ETA pushed into next year

These vehicles will be available until someone puts down a deposit to secure them.

Please feel free to PM or email with any questions or concerns.

Thank You,

Matt Nemetz - mnemetz at beyersubaru dot com

Count us as interested. Does the Limited come with NAV and backup camera or just NAV? Is there one at the dealer to look at? This would be for my wife and I want her to look at it

Nav yes, back-up camera no. It's not available as an Option or Accessory. I'm trying to figure out now how to make a back-up camera work from a Forester if it is even possible. The only BRZ that I have here is mine. All of our cars are coming in as Sold Orders. It's a Satin White Pearl Limited Auto.

:notcool: Subaru still doesn't get it. A Ford Focus has one these days.

Would it be possible for her to sit in it and perhaps for you to take her for a spin? She was intrigued by the idea of one but wanted to see one in person and as luck would have it, we saw a dark blue one on Rt 9 near Lovettsville tonight. Not more than 30 minutes after talking about going to look for one. :screwy:

It's the same as the 04 STi. They stripped it down as much as possible to get it here and keep it priced right. I can't just about guarantee that the 14' will come with the camera.

Yes, she can feel free to sit in it and I'll take her for a spin. It's still in break-in, so we can't really flog it. But you can get a feel for the car.

Thanks man.

As luck would have it, I ran into Mach V Dan at Cars and Coffee and he was kind enough to let me drive his (he insisted, actually). I think he just wanted to see if I'd fit in it (I did). :wiggle:

Why couldn't you have these back in December when I was car shopping?

Subaru didn't open the BRZ Order System until March. The Orders were placed then and we are awaiting the vehicles arrival. Sorry.

Imma gonna see if I can make them loose their shirts.

Sheehy is for us "the dealer that we wouldn't name" for the longest time. They used to get customers in with some insane Sale Price that no dealer could beat.
They would then drop 700 of Destination/Delivery on the customer in Finance? WTF? Really? Yep. It would drive customers our way constantly. Like I mean the customer would show up at our doors as we were closing/locking them.

Their prolly gonna put you in a three cylinder Daewoo from 2008 or something?

From the Subaru "A Lot to Love" Event letter Sheehy sent.
"This event was designed for you to upgrade to a new Subaru with advanced technology, improved fuel efficiency, and more safety features for the same or less than your current vehicle."

If they want to take Battle Blue and $4K from me and give me a new car, I won't stop them. Base Impreza is like $18K right?

Yeep. Base auto: MSRP-20,165, Invoice-18,791 less any accessories. The cars generally come with a couple hundred of accessories on em from Subaru.

It just sounds like a ploy to get you in the door and then the dealer bs will spew forth?

I know, I feel the same, but you know me, I have to rub their nose in it.
Had some errands to do in the area, so I thought I would drop by, see if my number was the winning one for the $30K and ask the sales guy what the letter meant.
Yep, not what it said.
But I got a Wall Mart gift card that at least covered my gas and found out my 'sales person' just came over from Honda and knew next to nothing about Subarus. He said he would look into seeing if they could get a diesel Forrester. Told him I will buy it on the spot if he could get it in withing two weeks. He said he would get started looking....
Pretty funny
